A community consists of two or more separate units (laptops, printers, servers, and so on.) which can be linked together so they can talk. Programs take the type of images on the display screen, and the recordsdata, folders (directories), and applications take the form of icons and symbols. Users may access and use assets supplied by devices on the community, reminiscent of printing a document on a shared community printer or use of a shared storage machine.
